The 2015 MUMC Christian Outreach Project (C.O.P.) mission team is formed and we are in the middle of our fundraising season! This year, C.O.P. week runs from Sunday, June 29, 2015 through Saturday, July 5, 2015 with the congregational sharing on Sunday, July 6, 2015.
The Christian Outreach Project is a non-profit organization, part of the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. For one week each summer, C.O.P. sends groups to homes in local communities in Northern New Jersey to provide housing repairs to homeowners who are unable to handle the projects themselves. C.O.P. is open to high school age youth and adults 22 years old or older.
This year MUMC is very excited to be sending 22 people, 15 teens and 7 adults to C.O.P.! The cost for participants this year will be $385, and this money goes to help offset the costs for the use of the Camp Hoover and Aldersgate facilities, as well as to pay for the supplies necessary to complete the projects undertaken. Aside from a small participant deposit, all of Milton UMC's costs are traditionally offset by the team's fundraising efforts.
Our 2015 C.O.P. Mission Team is was finalized in February.
We graciously appreciate your support of our fundraisers and request that you pray for the mission, our team and the homeowners we will be assisting this summer.

Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? — John 14:1-2
